Wall Street Parking Tips

There is no on street parking allowed in the financial district from 7am-5pm.  If you are traveling to the area during that time, we strongly recommend booking a garage spot ahead of time to ensure a discounted rate to avoid the panic of hunting for a spot.  Check out SpotHero’s various garage options and be more efficient with your time and worry.

  • On the lower west side, just south of The World Trade Center Memorial, there is some on street parking on South End Ave.  Parking in the financial district is the utmost limited and extremely difficult to come by.
  • In the evening after 5pm, there is some 2 hour metered parking by the Seaport on both Front and Water Streets
  • Metered parking is 3.50/hour and subject to restrictions that can invariably change.

NYC Financial District PATH Transit Parking

As a result of the lack of street parking and high density of commuters, many opt for public transit as their daily means of getting to work or around the city.  If you’re commuting from out of state, odds are high that you with take a commuter rail into the city.  Luckily, the One World Trade Center PATH stop is conveniently located in the heart of NYCs financial district, making it an easy commute from neighboring New Jersey.   Below, you can read about parking options near PATH stops to make your commute that much easier.

Newark Penn-Station Parking
